Congratulations to Firooz for being elected a Fellow of Optica (formerly OSA). Firooz is being honored specifically “For interdisciplinary work on integrated photonic-electronic systems including photonic deep neural networks for direct image classification and photonic-assisted microwave imaging.” The full press release is here.

Congratulations to Diedra, whose art work “Jaggedy Learning Curve” was accepted to the juried exhibition, Artificial Horizons: Exploring Alternative Robotic Futures, at Collected Detroit and Ford Robotics Building, University of Michigan, October 2023. The exhibition coincides with IROS 2023, Detroit.
